Jeff Platt is an award-winning television news reporter. He has been recognized for his ability to cover human interest stories and breaking news.
Jeff joined the KBOI 2News team in September of 2015 after spending more than a year as an anchor, producer and reporter at KCWY in Casper, Wyo.
In his time in Wyoming, Jeff interviewed all of the state’s congressional representatives, as well as the Governor. He was also the regular anchor on all three of the stations evening newscasts.
Jeff was born in New York City and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. As a native New Yorker, he cheers on his Mets, Jets, Rangers and Knicks every chance he can. In 2014, Jeff graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University with a degree in broadcast journalism.
When he isn’t at work you can find Jeff at the gym, tossing around the pigskin, or cooking (with limited success). If you see Jeff out and about, come up and introduce yourself.
