Deni has been with KBOI 2News since 2013. Born and raised in Boise, she’s a Timberline High School graduate. Wanting to explore life outside of Idaho, Deni moved to Spokane for college, where she got her degree in Broadcasting and Electronic Media at Gonzaga University. (Go Zags!) From there, she quickly found her way home, and has been here ever since.
During her time at KBOI, Deni has done a little bit of everything. She started as a Multimedia Journalist and Weekend Weather Anchor, and now has transitioned to anchoring on the weekends. Don’t ask her what she likes doing best – she’ll say she can’t decide because she enjoys all of it. She enjoys sharing other people’s stories through her work, and loves that no two days on the job are the same.
Deni is a huge Gonzaga fan, but Boise State is her home team…so win or lose, you’ll find her at Bronco football games. She also loves skiing, hiking, biking, boating, volleyball, tennis and just about anything else outside. Her co-workers will also tell you she’s a ping-pong extraordinaire, though she hasn’t confirmed that herself. More than anything, Deni loves being close to family and friends, and enjoys being involved in the community she grew up in.
