It's never too early to set your DVRs.

On Wednesday, the Mountain West released its 2017 TV football schedule for Boise State.

And you might not need that extra cup of coffee to stay awake (for some of the games anyway).

The Bronco's home opener against New Mexico will kick off at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14 on ESPN. The following week against Virginia, BSU's game will also kick off at 6 p.m.

The kick off times are earlier than any Boise State home game at Albertsons Stadium since also starting at 6 p.m. against Fresno State in 2014, BSU said.

“It was important for us to have some games at Albertsons Stadium kick at a time that got our fans home before midnight,” Director of Athletics Curt Apsey said. “We have been working with both the Mountain West and its national television partners since last season, and I am extremely pleased they were able to accommodate our request."

But it wouldn't be a season of Bronco football without some late-night games. The Broncos will play against BYU Oct. 6 at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN. They will also have two 8:30 p.m. games against San Diego State and Colorado State.

Eleven of the Broncos’ 12 regular-season games will air on either the ESPN family of networks or CBS Sports Network.

Kick time and broadcast information for Boise State’s game at Washington State (Sept. 9) is expected to be announced by the Pac-12 in early June.
