This all happened in a North End neighborhood around 9 p.m. on Sunday. The owner of the home (who asked not to be identified) was on vacation with his family in McCall.
He says his neighbor knew he was gone, but noticed there was a suspicious car in the driveway, and a light on in the home. The neighbor then called him to ask if there was supposed to be anyone at his home.
When he confirmed that there wasn't he immediately called police. Officers arrived and say they saw one man running away from the home. Officers said they went inside where they found 18-year-old Elton Denny, and 20-year-old Joseph Smiley.
The homeowner said the suspects ransacked his home, and he had to spend the morning cleaning up. It was so bad, he says he wasn't able to tell what, if anything, had been stolen.
"You feel victimized and your privacy feels like it's been sacrificed," said the homeowner.
Police said this goes to show how valuable a neighborhood watch program can be.
