A Treasure Valley woman says she was recently attacked while hiking alone on Table Rock.

And, the photos of her bruises she's posted on social media are being shared around our area.

Lexi Crawford, 19, said she was hiking the popular Table Rock trail system Sunday at about 9 p.m. when she was on her way down she noticed two guys following her.

"I noticed two guys following me, it sounded like they came out of the bushes, and when I noticed they were behind me I kind of sped up to my car," Crawford told KBOI 2News. "I went to open my car and as I opened it I turned around and the one guy, one guy was right here and the other was behind him, and the guy right here punched me in my face. And I think he expected it to knock me out but instead it didn't so I kind of pushed him."

Crawford posted a collage of photos highlighting bruises below her eye. She also said she suffered a concussion.

Lexi, who's met with deputies Tuesday about the attack, said she posted the photos on social media to help spread the word about safety and hiking alone.

"Especially if you're a girl don't come by yourself, I don't think as girls we should be restricted in what we are allowed and (not) allowed to do but unfortunately there's guys out there and I don't think this is their last time," she said.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office confirmed Wednesday that it's investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 377-6790.
