Wife to murder suspect Hall admits affair with victim
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The wife of a man suspected of killing a local attorney admitted to a sexual relationship with the victim.
Kandi Hall was the primary witness in Ada County Court Thursday. Her husband, Robert Hall, is suspected of shooting and killing Emmett Corrigan, who died in a Walgreens parking lot in March of 2011.
He's been charged with first degree murder, but prosecutors aren't seeking the death penalty.
Kandi said in court that she had sex with Corrigan the night he was killed. She began working for Corrigan at his law office and described the office environment as a "dog and pony show."
It was also revealed in court that Kandi purchased the gun used in the alleged shooting in December 2009.
Robert is a former Ada County Sheriff's Office employee who worked in the IT department.
