Who is this? Man in surveillance photo steals Idaho Fish and Game cargo trailer

Boise Crime Stoppers says the trailer and its contents, which are worth more than $100,000, is a white 2017 Forest River Cargo Trailer with Idaho license plate A14607. (Courtesy Photo)

Authorities say the man seen in a surveillance photo stole an Idaho Fish and Game cargo trailer and its contents earlier this month.

Boise Crime Stoppers says the trailer and its contents, which are worth more than $100,000, is a white 2017 Forest River Cargo Trailer with Idaho license plate A14607.

It was stolen at Fish and Game headquarters on Walnut Street April 7.

Fish and Game says the trailer had thousands of dollars worth of big game live-trapping and monitoring equipment, radio collars and other gear. Some of the items have been recovered, dumped by the thief at several locations around the valley in Boise, Mountain Home.

“We’re anxious to hear from anyone who can identify our suspect,” said Kurt Stieglitz, Fish and Game regional investigator. “This theft is an affront to the sportsmen and women of this state who paid for this equipment and a major blow to our agency’s ability to properly manage Idaho’s big game populations.”

Anyone with information about the suspect or the trailer is asked to call 208-570-600 or 343-COPS.
