Boise Fire says the fire started near 36th and Taft Street Tuesday morning. The fire got into some trees, ignited a fence and then spread into the power lines above. Heat generated from the power lines caused two transformers to blow fuses.
Idaho Power workers are on scene fixing the damage although several homes in the area are without power. No injuries were reported and there was no damage to any homes.
ACHD says it will pay for any property damage.
