TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) Prosecutors in southern Idaho have charged a third teen in connection with an October stabbing.
The Times-News reports the 17-year-old girl is charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and her preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 18 in Twin Falls County's 5th District Court.
Prosecutors say the girl helped 20-year-old Nicholas Gray, 23-year-old Jeffrey W. Allred, 20-year-old Roberto Garza Jr. and two 17-year-old boys attack a man because the group believed he had hit the girl earlier that day.
Police say the man was severely beaten and stabbed.
Gray and Garza have both pleaded not guilty to aggravated battery and conspiracy charges. Allred and the two teen boys have court dates set for this month on similar charges.
