Canyon County Sheriff's Office says the Nampa bomb squad responded to the football field and track. The device, which has been determined to not be an explosive, was found under the bleachers. The call came in at about 1:30 p.m.
Dr. Richard Bauscher, superintendent, told KBOI-TV that the package was found by crews that were setting up the area for a track meet on Saturday.
The principal ordered a soft lockdown for the rest of the day.
