Slick conditions lead to several traffic crashes around Valley
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Light snow is leading to some treacherous driving conditions around the Treasure Valley.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office says there have been 53 crashes around the county and six injury incidents.
Three people were also taken to the hospital after a crash on Seamans Gulch Roach. Officials say speed was a factor in the crash.
Light snow is expected to continue to fall in the Treasure Valley through the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20's for high temps.
The Idaho Transportation Department says crews were caught off guard by the snow, but has a fleet of workers prepping the roads for later tonight and tomorrow.
