On Tuesday, organizers sent a hydration notice to all participants in anticipation of Saturday's 35th annual race - dubbed the toughest half marathon in the northwest.
"We want you to be prepared for the hot weather," the Rocky Canyon Sail Toads said. "Drink enough (and) be hydrated everyday from now to race day."
Temperatures are forecasted to be unseasonably warm and could reach into the 80s.
"We want you to take personal responsibility for your fluid intake, " the notice said.
Robie committee members say they're planning to distribute more water and Gatorade at the nine aid stations on the course. Organizers sold out its 2,435 spots for this year's race in a matter of minutes.
