Police: Utah couple busted selling heroin to undercover Boise cop
BOISE, Idaho - Authorities in Boise say a couple from Utah was arrested in Boise for trying to sell a pound of heroin to an undercover police officer.
25-year-old Jaime Alonso Lopez-Barraza and 21-year-old Kimberly J. Acosta were taken into custody Friday after traveling to Boise to complete the deal.
The Ogden, Utah couple's 1-month-old child was put in state custody following the arrest.
The two are being held in the Ada County Jail and are scheduled to appear in 4th District Court on Tuesday on potential felony drug trafficking charges.
