Ontario Police say that Gregory Escobedo Jr., 21, walked into the police department at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday evening and surrendered to officers without incident.
Officers then placed Escobedo Jr. under arrest and booked him into the Malheur County Jail for Murder and Parole Violation.
Police say Gregory Escobedo Sr. was stabbed multiple times in the upper body around 9:20 p.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at St Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario.
The State Medical Examiner's Office in Clackamas, Oregon, will perform an autopsy on Escobedo Sr.
