This pattern developed on Thursday and brought light and fluffy snow to the west central and Boise mountains on Friday and Saturday. Brundage picked up 6" by Saturday night and Bogus Basin received 2."
Another wave moved through Saturday night, bringing a dusting of snow to the Treasure Valley and another 5" to Brundage and 3" to Bogus Basin.
The next wave of snow is expected to move through on Sunday night, and it is forecasted to bring another 1-3" of snow to the west central and Boise mountains by Monday morning. The Treasure Valley will just see flurries this time, with even a dusting of accumulation unlikely.
Sun Valley is still the only ski resort open in the region. Brundage is planning to open next weekend, assuming they get enough snow. Bogus Basin is still waiting for more snow before they can set a tentative opening date.
