A small group of legal marijuana supporters took to the Idaho Statehouse steps this afternoon. It was organized by a group called Moms for Marijuana International.

"We are challenging Governor Otter and his veto of the cdb bill, we're challenging every citizen of Idaho to stand up and join us and let's actually make this beneficial medicine available to our neighbors," said Serra Frank, founder of Moms for Marijuana International.

Troopers stood close by with a watchful eye while members of the group offered their views on the issue of legal marijuana.

"We believe it is our right to choose what goes into our bodies and we should not be criminalized for giving ourselves and our families a better quality of life," Frank said.

During the demonstration, Serra Frank pulled out a container with pills containing cannabidiol oil; the substance that some argue has medical benefits. One benefit some say is it eases seizures in children with Epilepsy.

Troopers cited Frank for possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
