      Man pulls knife on gas station clerk, runs away with cash

      BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Boise Police are looking for a man they say pulled a knife on a gas station clerk and then ran with an undisclosed amount of money.


      Officers say the armed robbery happened around 3:10 a.m. on Friday at the Stinker Station on Ustick and Five Mile. The clerk called 911 after the robbery and told officers that the man ran north.


      Boise Police immediately started a search for the suspect they were told was wearing a black hoodie and had a yellow backpack. After closing several roads in the area for about 30 minutes, they came up short, but continued a forensic search of the gas station.


      Officers say the man left without hurting anyone.


      Boise police is still investigating.
