Horse rescued from flooded Oregon field
SALEM, Ore. - Nobody led the horse to water, but he still found himself in about four feet of it.
Marion County firefighters rescued a horse named Ace from a flooded field on Sunday after he got his legs tangled in a barbed wire fence and was unable to free himself.
A bystander had tried to free the horse, but had to give up and was treated for possible hypothermia.
Ace, a 9-year-old quarter horse, was treated for minor injuries.
It took about an hour to get the horse freed.
