BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- One lane of Highway 21 has been re-opened after a brush fire forced the road to be closed Tuesday evening.
The Highland Alley Fire is near the Hilltop Cafe and is burning on the east side of Highway 21 between the road and Lucky Peak Reservoir.
A Bureau of Land Mamangement spokesperson says the fire is about 600 acres in size.
Six structures have been destroyed and one resident has been evacuated.
No word yet on how it started. About 3,000 customers were without power due to the fire.
Traffic is backed up on Highway 21 and a pilot car is being used to move traffic using the one lane that is open.
Crews expect the have the fire contained by midnight Tuesday night.
