Goo Goo Dolls to perform free concert for Zions Bank building
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- The Goo Goo Dolls are coming to town.
And the news gets better. You can watch the concert for free in downtown Boise.
Zions Bank is bringing the band to the Treasure Valley to help celebrate the bank's new headquarters at 8th Street and Main Feb. 15.
The band will perform on a stage spanning the width of Main Street in front of the 8th and Main building. Main will be closed between 9th Street and Capitol Boulevard to accommodate spectators.
"We believe that this epic celebration is fitting as we close the books on 'the Hole' and pay tribute to the beautiful new building that's taken its place as the tallest in Idaho," said Zions Bank President and CEO Scott Anderson.
Gardener Company will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony prior to the concert from 6-6:30 p.m.
The $76 million 8th and Main development is more than 350,000 square feet, including retail/restaurants, office space and three levels of parking.
