Fresno baseball coach gets surprise visit from active duty family member at Air Force game
Another homecoming for the books happened Friday at the Air Force Academy baseball game.
Mike Batesole, the Fresno State baseball coach got a surprise visit from his cousin, Nate Batesole, who is an active member of the Air Force.
When they made the announcement that Nate was supposed to throw the first pitch, Coach Batesole was truly surprised.
Coach then did what he knew best - hit the field for the catch.
"I've been chasing his career from when he started," the coach said. "I'm so proud of him and what he's done with our family name. What can you do- anything more honorable, than what he's doing?"
