According to the Ada County Coroner, 32-year-old Jeffrey Summerlin of Garden City died at St. Alphonsus in Boise after reports say he was swept under while fishing in the Boise River.
Witnesses say Summerlin had been fishing in the Boise River at the Parkcenter Bridge when he was swept under. According to reports, he was wearing waders that may have filled up with water, attributing to his inability to stay floating.
