Deputies invite drunk drivers to spend time at 'Twin Falls County Jail Resort'
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KBOI) —
Don't expect all inclusive offerings at this Idaho "resort" any time soon.
The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office posted a tongue-in-cheek video on social media inviting drunk drivers to come and spend time in their facility.
"All you have to do is drive drunk in our county," Sgt. Dan Thom says.
Included in the video is a tour of booking process at the resort including the pat down and finger printing process.
"And this is the nice kind of treatment you get," Thom says, while getting searched. "Yeah he's a friendly guy."
"You can even find a place to get your breath tested - not for bad breath - but to see how much you drank, that's going to be fun isn't it?"
The resort touts its top notch food options as well.
"If you're going to stay a long time don't forget we're going to serve you on a silver or brown platter...it will be wonderful."
Bottom line? If the resort doesn't sound like a nice vacation, you know what to do (or rather what not to do).
