The ticket was sold in Meridian and matched the first five numbers from that night's draw, but not the Powerball. The winning numbers were: 11, 17, 29, 56, 57 and the Powerball was 14.
If the winner does not claim the prize at lottery headquarters by Friday at 3 p.m., the lottery will not be able to pay the claim. The money would return to the state to fund public schools and buildings.
Two years ago, a $1 million Powerball ticket sold in Irwin along the Idaho-Wyoming border went unclaimed.
