The 8th annual Sweet-Ola Ride is coming up.
Organizer Dwight Murphy says 100 percent of the proceeds from the ride benefit the National League of POW/MIA Families.
The group helps recover the remains of soldiers from Vietnam and bring them back to their families.
"These veterans have given their lives in Vietnam," said Dwight Murphy, who explained that reuniting families with their loved one's remains can help bring closure.
Even if you don't ride a motorcycle, you can still participate in the event.
The Sweet-Ola ride, auction and barbecue is Sunday, April 28th and runs 1 to 5 pm from Shorty's in Garden City.
