Man suspected of drug-fueled rampage pleads guilty
BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A man charged in an apparent drug-fueled rampage that left two men hospitalized and others injured has pleaded guilty to numerous charges filed after the alleged crime spree in Meridian last summer.Sean Carnell pleaded guilty to robbery, aggravated battery, first degree arson, battery with intent to commit serious felony, aggravated assault earlier this month.In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed numerous charges including robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and malicious injury to property.
Carnell is suspected of attacking a 15-year-old boy and taking his skateboard, using the skateboard to assault a Nampa fireman, kicking a little boy's dog and trying to set fire in his apartment. Prosecutors say he also beat a construction worker with a shovel, broke into an apartment and attacked a neighbor and tipped over a man in a wheelchair.
Carnell is schedule to be sentenced June 6.
