CALDWELL, Idaho (KBOI) - Caldwell firefighter Rob Bailey has perched himself on the roof of Fire Station #1 and refuses to come down.

At least, until he collects 800 coats for kids.

Anyone who is interested in donating can drop off a coat at the station at 310 S. 7th Avenue in Caldwell.

Bailey had collected between 500-600 coats as of 9 p.m. Friday night.

People can also donate other items that keep kids warm like hats, gloves, and scarves.
