Barbacoa restaurant owner arrested on felony drug charge
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- The owner of a popular restaurant in southeast Boise has been arrested on felony drug charges, according to Ada County Jail arrest records.
Robert William Castoro, who owns Barbacoa on Parkcenter Boulevard, was booked into the jail just after midnight on Tuesday on felony drug possession. He has since posted bail.
Boise Police says on June 9, detectives went to an east Boise home on an unrelated investigation.
When officers arrived, they found Castoro in possession of a small amount of cocaine. A report was forwarded to prosecutors who then issued an arrest warrant.
Barbacoa was destroyed in a fire in January 2010. Investigators never determined the cause, but ruled out foul play.
