Ada County OKs sale of sports complex to city of Eagle
EAGLE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Ada County Commissioners voted Tuesday to approve the sale of the 34-acre Ada-Eagle Sports Complex to the city of Eagle.
The land will used for a year-round sports complex on about seven acres of land including a winter terrain park, which would be privately operated by Gateway Parks with tubing, skiing and snowboarding. The city would receive 10 percent of revenue from lift tickets and lessons.
The commissioners voted two to one on the 34-acre sale for $4,000 per acre.
The land is located off of Horseshoe Bend Road in the Boise Foothills.
